New Wellness Programs
Strongsville Psychological Services is pleased to now offer three psychoeducational therapeutic groups for children and young adolescents: Yoga, Social Skills, and Art. These groups will be coordinated and led by experienced counselors. Participants do not need to be current clients of SPS. There will be a brief screening interview with the parent(s) to ensure the child's appropriate fit with the structure, process, and goals of each group. Every session will last approximately one hour. Parents will receive feedback on their child's participation. The cost for each group will be $200 (not covered by insurance), payable at the time of registration. This is an excellent opportunity for your child to experience therapeutic activities and skills development in a relaxed, supportive atmosphere. If you are interested in enrolling your child into one (or more) of the groups, please call 440-234-9955.
Strongsville Psychological Services is open to new clients and can conduct intake sessions through Tele-health video meetings. Our office staff is available Monday through Saturday to assist in getting the process started, including on-line registration, verifying insurance and scheduling with an available therapist who specializes in the identified clinical concern. Most new clients can have a first session within a week!
Masks are now optional in all areas of SPS, with two exceptions. Individual therapists may request a client wear a mask in an in-person session. We also ask that any client who is having symptoms of potential contagious disease (e.g. cough, sore throat) either wear a mask or switch their scheduled session to telehealth.
